Samuel was orphaned when his father was killed in and auto accident and his mother abandoned him. He lives with his stepmother and four other children.

Doroth lost both of her parents to HIV and now lives with her Grandmother Tereza Adikini and 6 other children. She only eats once a day if there is any food.

Steven lost his mother to HIV. His grandmother took him in along with 3 other siblings and now lives with her on their Banana Plantation.
